Upstream AS has during the whole planning process had close dialogue with Mr Bjørn Horten i Buskerud County. This is very important for us, and we also think the the County Administration will increase their competency with us in this area during our close cooperation also in the future.
It was easy for Upstream AS to prioritize a presentation for Buskerud Fylkeskommune/Buskerud county #buskerudfylkeskommune by their "Department for industry and environment", when they announced a visit to Ål in Hallingdal. Upstream AS presented the plans, status and potential impacts of the establishment for the committee. We got a lot of good questions from the members of the group, and hopefully we were able to answer these well.
The cooperation with the County administration will be even more important in the months to come. This is the first major aqua culture establishment in our county, and we agree that a close contact between us and the administration is decisive for a positive outcome. There also came up some suggestions for participation in some new projects, and specially the nationwide "Mission Project" could be interesting for Upstream AS in cooperation with the county administration. We look forward to the cooperation in the months to come and hope the particiapnts from the county had a good visit to Ål.
