A very important part of establishing a landbased fish farm #ras #landbasedfarming is to analyze the water before and after going through the RAS facility. This is also a part of a very important work related to the aquaculture concessions that is issued by Buskerud Fylkeskommune, coordinated with Statsforvalteren i Oslo og Viken, the Directorate of Fisheries and Mattilsynet.
Hallingdalsvassdraget (Hallingdal watercourse) is a major waterway system starting up on the Hardangervidda mountain plateu, and goes all the way to Oslofjorden 165 km east of our location in Ål. The current is pretty strong and there are several powerplants that have their outlet water inot the riversystem.
